Just in time for the HIMSS18 Conference, Avyan Corp is excited to announce the launch of “Azure Security and Compliance Blueprint – HIPAA Health Data and AI.” This blueprint was designed jointly by Microsoft, Avyan and KenSci.  Here’s an overview:

“Health organizations all over the world are leveraging the power of AI and the cloud to improve outcomes and accelerate performance. The blueprint provides a secure end-to-end foundation for organizations to ingest, store, analyze and interact with sensitive and regulated data. The blueprint provides a Secure Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and automation to help deploy a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) ready environment. The blueprint includes step-by-step documentation, cybersecurity threat model, component architecture, customer responsibility matrix, external audit report and deployment scripts to automate cloud deployment.” Check it out here: http://aka.ms/healthcareblueprint

Also, the blueprint “has been reviewed by Coalfire, a Microsoft auditor. The HIPAA Compliance Review provides an independent, third-party review of the solution and components that need to be addressed.” Here are components included in the blueprint:

An exciting aspect of this healthcare blueprint and other Azure blueprints is that they’re completely free to use.  Customers simply pay for the related Azure services they deploy.  The savings enterprises realize in time, effort and cost in not having to architect this type of cloud environment on their own are significant.
